Life after the Ph.D.
When making a decision about the next 6 years of your life, it’s good to stop and think about what you might do when you finish. Most students upon completing a Ph.D. either go into academia(research university or teaching school) and become a professor, or they go to a research lab. Some people never do research again after completing a Ph.D.. For such people, the Ph.D. was largely a waste of time. --Professor Mor Harchol-Balter

.. and i'am afraid of becoming a person of "such people"..

kalo jalan2 doang mah, gak usah ambil PhD kali..
kalo gitu mending waktunya dipake buat ngejar karir
abis itu jalan2 bayar (gak gratis, 'kan banyak duit.. ;p)

eh jalan2 itu kan alasan gw ambil s2. kalo s3 mah, quit dah ... gak kuat otaknya [bukan tipe research-based].

agak mengiris hati banget jalan2 ke LN tp bayar sendiri ... yg enak itu dibayarin orang =D
apabila duit gw banyak, jalan2 ke LN itu prioritas hampir bawah bgt kali ya ...

gw udah pernah nyobain backpacker pas di bangkok ... hemm capek bgt (tapi itu sendirian sih, kalo rame2 mungkin fun)
